I can’t believe that it’s over! I spent weeks preparing for it (sewing my booty off and making new jewelry) and just like that, it was over.

It went well, and we had a great time! We didn’t do as well as last year, but not by much, so it was still totally worth it. I love to see people’s reactions to my stuff in person

We both got a little crispy on the first day (Rob had to wander around Brooklyn in search of sunscreen while I manned the booth all by myself). I am also now sporting a pretty awesome flip-flop tan on both my feet!

And our friends Josh and Monica came by on the second day and kept us company for a bit. Josh bought us rainbow ices in spongebob cups (!!) He was a life saver.

This year I decided to finally spring for a new vinyl banner for renegade. I had been using a felt banner that I made by hand a few years ago, but the torrential downpour from last year warped it a bit, so I figured it was time for an upgrade.

I’m super happy with how it turned out! Look how big it is!

Ok, enough chit chat. Back to the sewing machine!

I’ve been working my butt off in preperation for this year’s Renegade Craft Fair. I had short notice, so I’ve been trying to cram in as much sewing / gluing / jewelry making as I can.

I also made a whole bunch of my little lapel pins
I love seeing them all bunched together, like a little army of apple and heart pins.

I just got an email from the Renegade Craft Fair people, and they offered me a spot at this year’s fair!! June 6 & 7

I was put on a waiting list when I first applied. (and I was super bummed) I’ve done the fair two years in a row, so I had a feeling that I was going to get wait listed this time around … but a spot opened up!

I’m so excited!!! Time to get started on my “master list”. I have less than a month to get ready!
