I made this elephant bag this weekend! It was a custom order for Suzy, who knew exactly what she was looking for!

Suzy liked our classic elephant print, but wanted her tote to be a little different. We were able to make her a custom elephant patch, and mix up a custom paint color to match the dusty rose lining of this super cute tote.

Right on the heels of our last custom baby bag for Rachel, Steph (our awesome graphic designer) asked us if we would create a baby bag for her.

We had been throwing around some unicorn designs (for some soon-to-be-posted necklaces!!) and she got the idea for a bag with a GLITTER unicorn on it. She drew up a sketch and designed her print, as I scoured the internet for products that would allow me to glitter up my screen prints. A few pattern designs later, this baby was born! This is probably the most complex bag I have ever made, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out:

It features:

*phew* A lot of the features were first times for me – like the partition and the magnetic snap closure, so I took things really slow. It took me a while to put the whole thing together, but it was totally worth it!! I was/am so happy with how it turned out, I found myself having a hard time sending it off to Steph! I hope her (and her soon to be born baby) love it as much as I do! <3

What do you guys think? Do you guys love unicorns as much as Steph and I?

ACK! I’ve been so bad at posting to this blog. Life has been busy lately, and blogging has fallen to the bottom of my to-do list.

I have a lot in my Cherry Red hopper at the moment, and I’ve been so focused on creating new things, that I haven’t been keeping you all in the loop

I made this custom tote for my old friend Rachel (seriously, I went to elementary school with her!) who is expecting her first baby at the end of June (OMG!) and wanted a baby bag to match her adorable stoller.

This bag is up there among my favorite custom creations of all time:

I created the leafy pattern, screen printed it onto the fabric (in three custom mixed colors), and made some extra buttons out of some of the fabric scraps. I also reinforced the bottom, but I forgot to take a picture The teal straps were a PERFECT match for the polka dotted teal lining fabric, I really couldn’t have been more perfect!

This is Crystal’s mask tote! She wanted a custom bag for her masquerade-ball-loving friend (what a good friend she is!) She was looking for something blue and brown (don’t you love those stripes?) and wanted a custom print. Together, we came up with the mask design, and she was thrilled with the results!
